Herb Lubalin was one of the most influential American graphic designers and typographers of the 20th century. His relationship with typography was one of a kind and allowed him to develop a unique and recognizable style.

He was the designer behind historical magazines such as Eros and Avant-Garde, collaborating with figures such as Marilyn Monroe and Andy Warhol. This book, edited by Gertrude Snyder and Alan Peckolick presents over 360 illustrations, in color and black and white, offering a comprehensive overview into Herb Lubalin’s practice.
