This volume is the second of a three-part series edited by Yasaburo Kuwayama focusing on Graphic Elements of the World.

The second edition is dedicated to symbolic designs, showcasing over 1500 examples of these trademarks.

The book is divided into sections representing the symbolic groups depicted, to name a few: birds, tools, circles, curves, triangles, insects, and many others.
