Bauhaus (1969)

This special catalogue was edited in 1969 on the occasion of the iconic exhibition “The Bauhaus: 1919-1969” presented by the Musée National d’Art Moderne in Paris. 

The catalog contains hundreds of illustrations in color and black & white covering the output of the Bauhaus movement. Started in 1919 in Germany, the Bauhaus became one of the most important design and architecture movements of the 20th century, defining modernism and spreading across the world.

This book focuses on the practice within the Bauhaus school making it a great resource to understand the importance of the movement and the richness of its disciplines. 

The show was organized in collaboration with Germany where the catalogue was published.The retrospective was shown in multiple cities across Europe such as London, Amsterdam, then Chicago, well-known for its history with architecture in the 20th century.
