Published from 1989 to 1994, Creation was a key Japanese graphic design magazine that documented postwar visual culture, linking design with advertising, typography, and identity systems. With a modernist, structured approach, it treated commercial design as cultural practice, connected Japan to global movements and helped define the precise, refined character of Japanese graphic modernism.
